Face value !!!!

An American, a British and an Indian went for a Trek one day. It was very hot. They were sweating and exhausted. When they came upon a small lake, they took off all their clothes and jumped into the water, since it was fairly secluded.Feeling refreshed, the trio decided to pick a few berries while Enjoying their 'freedom. 'As they were crossing an open area, suddenly a group of ladies from Town appeared. Unable to get to their clothes in time, the American and the British quickly used their hands to cover their privates. But the Indian covered his face while they ran for cover. After the ladies had left and the men got their clothes back on. The American and the British asked the Indian why he covered his face rather than his private part. The Indian replied, ' I don't know about you, but in my country, it's the face that people recognize '.

Think before you stop!

Worth Passing On! Sad, especially if you are inclined to 'help' people... While driving on a rural end of the roadway on Thursday morning, I saw an infant car seat on the side of the road with a blanket draped over it. For whatever reason, I did not stop, even though I had all kinds of thoughts running through my head. But when I got to my destination, I called the Police and they were going to check it out. But, this is what the Police advised even before they went out there to check....
"There are several things to be aware of ... Gangs and thieves are now plotting different ways to get a person (mostly women)to stop their vehicle and get out of the car.
"There is a gang initiation reported by the local Police where gangs are placing a car seat by the road...with a fake baby in it...waiting for a woman, of course, to stop and check on the abandoned baby. "Note that the location of this car seat is usually beside a wooded or grassy (field) area and the person -- woman -- will be dragged into the woods, beaten and raped, and usually left for dead. If it's a man, they're usually beaten and robbed and maybe left for dead, too. DO NOT STOP FOR ANY REASON!!! DIAL 9-9-9AND REPORT WHAT YOU SAW, BUT DON'T EVEN SLOW DOWN.
"IF YOU ARE DRIVING AT NIGHT AND EGGS ARE THROWN AT YOUR WINDSCREEN, DO NOT STOP TO CHECK THE CAR, DO NOT OPERATE THE WIPER AND DO NOT SPRAY ANY WATER BECAUSE EGGS MIXEDWITH WATER BECOME MILKY AND BLOCK YOUR VISION UP TO 92.5%, AND YOU ARE THEN FORCED TO STOP BESIDE THE ROAD AND BECOME A VICTIM OF THESE CRIMINALS. THIS IS A NEW TECHNIQUE USED BY GANGS, SO PLEASE INFORM YOUR FRIENDS AND RELATIVES.
THESE ARE DESPERATE TIMES AND THESE ARE UNSAVOURY INDIVIDUALS WHO WILL TAKE DESPERATE MEASURES TO GET WHAT THEY WANT." Please talk to your loved ones about this. This is a new tactic used. Please be safe. Get started NOW -- SEND THIS MESSAGE TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS AND LOVED ONES TO BE CAREFUL AND AWARE OF EVERYTHING AROUND THEM SO AS NOT TO BECOME A VICTIM.

HOW CAN I HANDLE INDIA alone?

Fwd: Swiss bank declaration...

Latest update after Swiss Bank has agreed to disclose the funds&.
Our Indians' Money - 70, 00,000 Crores Rupees In Swiss Bank
1) Yes, 70 lakhs crores rupees of India are lying in Switzerland banks. This is the highest amount lying outside any country, from amongst 180 countries of the world, as if India is the champion of Black Money.
2) Swiss Government has officially written to Indian Government that they are willing to inform the details of holders of 70 lakh crore rupees in their Banks, if Indian Government officially asks them.
3) On 22-5-08, this news has already been published in The Times of India and other Newspapers based on Swiss Government's official letter to Indian Government.
4) But the Indian Government has not sent any official enquiry to Switzerland for details of money which has been sent outside India between 1947 to 2008.. The opposition party is also equally not interested in doing so because most of the amount is owned by politicians and it is every Indian's money.
5) This money belongs to our country. From these funds we can repay 13 times of our country's foreign debt. The interest alone can take care of the Center s yearly budget. People need not pay any taxes and we can pay Rs. 1 lakh to each of 45 crore poor families.
6) Let us imagine, if Swiss Bank is holding Rs. 70 lakh Crores, then how much money is lying in other 69 Banks? How much they have deprived the Indian people? Just think, if the Account holder dies, the bank becomes the owner of the funds in his account.
7) Are these people totally ignorant about the philosophy of Karma? What will this ill-gotten wealth do to them and their families when they own/use such money, generated out of corruption and exploitation?
8) Indian people have read and have known about these facts. But the helpless people have neither time nor inclination to do anything in the matter. This is like "a new freedom struggle" and we will have to fight this.
9) This money is the result of our sweat and blood.. The wealth generated and earned after putting in lots of mental and physical efforts by Indian people must be brought back to our country.

Exclusive breastfeeding can save 22.3% infant deaths

By KULSUM MUSTAFA CNS
Published: Jul 11, 2010 04:08 Updated: Jul 11, 2010 04:09 Arab News (www.arabnews.com)
In the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, 270,000 infants die in the first month of their birth, a grim situation which breastfeeding advocate Dr. KP Kushwaha says could be drastically reversed if every pregnant woman in the state ensure that her newborn gets mother's milk in the first hour of birth.
Statistics state that 270,000 infants born in Uttar Pradesh (UP) die in the first month of their birth and every sixth malnutrition child lives in UP.
"The grim situation of infant mortality and child malnutrition can be changed overnight if every pregnant woman in the state ensure that her newborn gets mother's milk in the first hour of birth," said Dr. KP Kushwaha. A pediatrician and a great advocate of breastfeeding, Kushwaha, head of the Department of Pediatrics, BRD Medical College, Gorakhpur, was addressing media persons at the monthly Media for Children hosted jointly by Media Nest and UNICEF at the Uttar Pradesh Press Club on every second Saturday afternoon.
Kushwaha said that malnutrition will drastically bring down the GDP and will add to 50 percent death of infants. He bemoaned the facts that social customs and psychological mindset prevents a mother from breastfeeding her child immediately after his birth.
"It is sad, but true that only 46.4 percent of mother's do exclusive breastfeeding. The other 53.6 percent do not even realize the great harm they are doing to their child, society and country," said Kushwaha, who has passionately pursued his mission to ensure a healthier society through mothers following the baby friendly health initiative.
Through audiovisual medium he explained the correct methods of breastfeeding. Kushwaha said that though it is said repeatedly that breastfeeding is a natural instinct of all mothers the truth is that it is a technique that must be taught to a woman and for this trained counselors are essential.
Kushwaha illustrated this information with the work he and his team have done in Lalitpur district of Uttar Pradesh. He said that the baby friendly health initiative (BFHI) in just one a half year of initiating this project in 600 villages the percentage of mothers who exclusively breastfed their child was raised from a mere 6.6 percent to 50 percent.
In the same way the percentage of mother's who initiated breastfeeding within an hour rose from 10.9 percent in November 2006 to 72 percent in April 2008.
Listing the US$80,000 billion infant food market as one of the main hurdles that confronts the practice of mother’s milk, Kushwaha said that there are laws against infant foods' availability and their open advertisements but the money involved is so huge that often these laws remain just on paper.
Speaking during the occasion, UNICEF communication specialist Augustine Veliath said that Kushwaha is the rarest of rare doctors who has through his devotion to the cause helped save millions of children.
"His behavioral change in infant feeding pattern has received great response not just in India but also abroad. Dr. Kushwaha is today an authority on the issue and his 'best practice experiments' are being used all over the world," saidVeliath.
Senior journalist and secretary-general of Media Nest, Kulsum Talha, cited Kushwaha for raising awareness among media persons on this issue, helping build their capacity, which is the motive of the program. (CNS)

CANCER CURE DISCOVERED

This fruit is known as katu aatha in Sri Lanka --please circulate Guyabano, The Soupsop Fruit The Sour Sop or the fruit from the graviola tree is a miraculous natural cancer cell killer 10,000 times stronger than Chemo.
Why are we not aware of this? Its because some big corporation want to make back their money spent on years of research by trying to make a synthetic version of it for sale.
So, since you know it now you can help a friend in need by letting him know or just drink some sour sop juice yourself as prevention from time to time. The taste is not bad after all. It's completely natural and definitely has no side effects. If you have the space, plant one in your garden. The other parts of the tree are also useful.
The next time you have a fruit juice, ask for a sour sop.

How many people died in vain while this billion-dollar drug maker concealed the secret of the miraculous Graviola tree?
Th is tree is low and is called graviola in Brazil , guanabana in Spanish and has the uninspiring name "soursop" in English. The fruit is very large and the subacid sweet white pulp is eaten out of hand or, more commonly, used to make fruit drinks, sherbets and such.
The principal interest in this plant is because of its strong anti-cancer effects. Although it is effective for a number of medical conditions, it is its anti tumor effect that is of most interest. This plant is a proven cancer remedy for cancers of all types.
Besides being a cancer remedy, graviola is a broad spectrum antimicrobial agent for both bacterial and fungal infections, is effective against internal parasites and worms, lowers high blood pressure and is used for depression, stress and nervous disorders.

If there ever was a single example that makes it dramatically clear why the existence of Health Sciences Institute is so vital to Americans like you, it's the incredible story behind the Graviola tree.
The truth is stunningly simple: Deep within the AmazonRainforest grows a tree that could literally revolutionize what you, your doctor, and the rest of the world thinks about cancer treatment and chances of survival. The future has never looked more promising.
Research shows that with extracts from this miraculous tree it now may be possible to:* Attack cancer safely and effectively with an all-natural therapy that does not cause extreme nausea, weight loss and hair loss* Protect your immune system and avoid deadly infections* Feel stronger and healthier throughout the course of the treatment* Boost your energy and improve your outlook on life
The source o f this information is just as stunning: It comes from one of America 's largest drug manufacturers, the fruit of over 20 laboratory tests conducted since the 1970's! What those tests revealed was nothing short of mind numbing... Extracts from the tree were shown to:
* Effectively target and kill malignant cells in 12 types of cancer, including colon, breast, prostate, lung and pancreatic cancer..* The tree compounds proved to be up to 10,000 times stronger in slowing the growth of cancer cells than Adriamycin, a commonly used chemotherapeutic drug!* What's more, unlike chemotherapy, the compound extracted from the Graviola tree selectively huntsdown and kills only cancer cells. It does not harm healthy cells! The amazing anti-cancer properties of the Graviola tree have been extensively researched-- so why haven't you heard anything about it? If Graviola extract is as half as promising as it appears to be-- why doesn't every single oncologist at every major hospital insist on using it on all his or her patients?
The spine-chilling answer illustrates just how easily our health-- and for many, our very lives(!)--are controlled by money and power.
Graviola--the plant that worked too well
One of America 's biggest billion-dollar drug makers began a search for a cancer cure and their research centered on Graviola, a legendary healing tree from the Amazon Rainforest.
Variou s parts of the Graviola tree--including the bark, leaves, roots, fruit and fruit-seeds- -have been used for centuries by medicine men and native Indians in South America to treat heart disease, asthma, liver problems and arthritis. Going on very little documented scientific evidence, the company poured money and resources into testing the tree's anti-cancerous properties-- and were shocked by the results. Graviola proved itself to be a cancer-killing dynamo.
But that's where the Graviola story nearly ended.
The company had one huge problem with the Graviola tree--it's completely natural, and so, under federal law, not patentable. There's no way to make serious profits from it.
It turns out the drug company invested nearly seven years trying tosynthesize two of the Graviola tree's most powerful anti-cancer ingredients. If they could isolate and produce man-made clones of what makes the Graviola so potent, they'd be able to patent it and make their money back. Alas, they hit a brick wall. The original simply could not be replicated. There was no way the company could protect its profits--or even make back the millions it poured into research.
As the dream of huge profits evaporated, their testing on Graviola came to a screeching halt. Even worse, the company shelved the entire project and chose not to publish the findings of its research!
Luckily, however, there was one scientist from the Graviola research team whose conscience wouldn't let him see such atrocity committed. Risking his career, he contacted a company that's dedicated to harvesting medical plants from the Amazon Rainforest and blew the whistle.
Miracle unleashedWhen researchers at the Health Sciences Institute were alerted to the news of Graviola, they began tracking the research done on the cancer-killing tree. Evidence of the astounding effectiveness of Graviola--and its shocking cover-up--came in fast and furious....
....The National Cancer Institute performed the first scientific research in 1976. The results showed that Graviola's "leaves and stems were found effective in attacking and destroying malignant cells." Inexplicably, the results were published in an internal report and never released to the public...
...Since 1976, Graviola has proven to be an immensely potent cancer killer in 20 independent laboratory tests, yet no double-blind clinical trials-- the typical benchmark mainstream doctors and journals use to judge atreatment's value- -were ever initiated..

A study published in the Journal of Natural Products, following a recent study conducted at Catholic University of South Korea stated that one chemical in Graviola was found to selectively kill colon cancer cells at "10,000 times the potency of (the commonly used chemotherapy drug) Adriamycin.. .."
.....The most significant part of the Catholic University of South Korea report is that Graviola was shown to selectively target the cancer cells, leaving healthy cells untouched. Unlike chemotherapy, which indiscriminately targets all actively reproducing cells (such as stomach and hair cells), causing the often devastating side effects of nausea and hair loss in cancer patients.
...A study at Purdue University recently found that leaves from the Graviola tree killed cancer cells among six human cell lines and were especially effective against prostate, pancreatic and lung cancers... Seven years of silence broken--it's finally here!
A limited supply of Graviola extract, grown and harvested by indigenous people in Brazil , is finally available in America ..
The full Graviola Story--including where you can get it and how to use it--is included in Beyond Chemotherapy: New Cancer Killers, Safe as Mother's Milk, a Health Sciences Institute FREE special bonus report on natural substances that will effectively revolutionize the fight against cancer..
From breakthrough cancer and heart research and revolutionary Amazon Rainforest herbology to world-leading anti-aging research and nutritional medicine, every monthly Health Sciences Institute Member's Alert puts in your hands today cures the rest of America --including your own doctor(!)--is likely to find out only ten years from now.

Kerala Urban Development Society from CochinSquare.com

Kerala Urban Development Society Posted: 03 Jul 2010 01:11 AM PDTThe future of Kerala depends on how quick our cities adapt to meet the challenges of the globalized world. Kerala cities are just not competing with other Indian Metros in IT, Biotechnology or Tourism but to major South Asian cities as well. But lack of a planned urban vision, incompetent executive bodies, dearth of funds et al has conspired against our cities, attaching a significant weight to its legs in the road forward. Our urban development bodies, be it the Corporation, PWD, Roads and Bridges Development Corporation or GCDA lack the vision, manpower or funds to carry out the bludgeoning needs of the urban sets. This is where a few city-oriented working groups and NGOs have stepped in, one of the notable ones being Kerala Urban Development Society. (KUDS)
KUDS is a Cochin based organization formed to offer a holistic approach to the primary peeve: urban planning and sustainable development in our cities. KUDS has in its ranks individuals, groups and Governmental organizations to devise and implement elaborate and systematic plan of action for infrastructure development with the involvement of Public and Private Partnership in Kerala and Cochin in particular. The idea of ‘citizens working for the city’ has been successfully tried and tested everywhere in the world. With some very high profile members like Mercy Williams (Cochin Mayor), EC Jose (Chairman, Kerala Chamber of Commerce and Industry)and D. Dhanuraj (Chairman, CPPR) adorning their ranks, KUDS plan to include the expertise from NRIs, professionals and corporates during various phases of job execution.Only a few months into its formation, KUDS has already envisaged and implemented a few notable projects which could be pivotal for the Queen. The Vytilla Mobililty Hub is heading towards realization, thanks also to the efforts of Mr. Dhanuraj, by influencing the power circles in the state and nation capitals.
Vytilla Mobility Hub Phase IAs a follow-up to the Vytilla terminal, KUDS now has now teamed up with leading architects like Ajith Associates, planning minor satellite hubs by rearranging bus-stops with integrated mobility and also the MG Road walking plaza.Exploring environmentally friendly energy sources is one area KUDS concentrate. Making Cochin Kerala’s first solar-city is an ambitious programme undertaken by the Corporation in association with KUDS. The main aim of the project is to power the city and promote increased use of renewable energy. Initially, solar lights will be installed at public places including Subhash Chandra Bose Park, Fort Kochi Nehru Park, Kunnara Park, Fort Kochi beach and Jankar Jetty. Early this year KUDS planned and organized a public presentation about a Enviromental and Ecofriendly energy concept in association with Synergy Environics. (details of all activities on KUDS website)
from KUDS/ Synergy Environics presentationKUDS vision for a better urban tomorrow doesn’t end with plan of action. In order to validate the way they function, KUDS visualises to take up activities like:award to the public works contractor who implements projects in an exceptional manner adhering to international standards.organize ‘city-vision’ events in professional colleges and schools.Infrastructure-watch website to allow users to report issues with the problems in locality.create opportunity for contractor training with participation and invitations from other world-city planners.Apart from illustrious office bearers and members, KUDS open their doors to NRIs, PIOs, Corporate representatives, students and professionals or anyone with a social responsibility and dedication to enrol in the team and pitch in for the welfare of the community we live in.KUDS devises an elaborate and systematic plan of action for infrastructure development with the involvement of Public and Private Partnership in Kerala and Cochin in particular. From city beautification to planning and design, ecotourism to heritage conservation, provision of Wi-max connectivity to integration of GPS technology in social lifestyle, KUDS possesses the expertise to machinate executable proposals for projects in association with various Governmental and non-governmental organizations.KUDS provides the right platform for citizens who are genuinely concerned about their city and obliges dutifully to give back to the city which has helped them in formatting their life and careers.

Alcohol

I went to a party,
And remembered what you said. You told me not to drink, Mum So I had a Sprite instead.
I felt proud of myself,
The way you said I would, That I didn't drink and drive, Though some friends said I should.
I made a healthy choice,
And your advice to me was right, The party finally ended, And the kids drove out of sight.
I got into my car,
Sure to get home in one piece, I never knew what was coming, Mum Something I expected least.
Now I'm lying on the pavement,
And I hear the policeman say, The kid that caused this wreck was drunk, Mum, his voice seems far away.
My own blood's all around me,
As I try hard not to cry. I can hear the paramedic say, This girl is going to die.
I'm sure the guy had no idea,
While he was flying high, Because he chose to drink and drive, Now I would have to die.
So why do people do it, Mum
Knowing that it ruins lives? And now t he pain is cutting me, Like a hundred stabbing knives.
Someone should have taught him, That it's wrong to drink and drive. Maybe if his parents had, I'd still be alive.
My breath is getting shorter, Mum
I'm getting really scared. These are my final moments, And I'm so unprepared.
I wish that you could hold me Mum,
As I lie here and die. I wish that I could say, 'I love you, Mum!' So I love you and good-bye.

Bottle of Wine

(Women will LOVE this one!)
A woman and a man are involved in a car accident on a snowy, cold Monday morning; it's a bad one. Both of their cars are totally demolished, but amazingly neither of them is hurt. God works in mysterious ways. After they crawl out of their cars, the man is yelling about women drivers. The woman says, 'So, you're a man. That's interesting. I'm a woman. Wow, just look at our cars! There's nothing left, but we're unhurt. This must be a sign from God that we should be friends and live in peace for the rest of our days. ' Flattered, the man replies, 'Oh yes, I agree completely, this must be a sign from God! But you're still at fault...women shouldn't be allowed to drive.' The woman continues, 'And look at this, here's another miracle. My car is completely demolished but this bottle of wine didn't break. Surely God wants us to drink this wine and celebrate our good fortune.' She hands the bottle to the man. The man nods his head in agreement, opens it and drinks half the bottle and then hands it back to the woman. The woman takes the bottle, puts the cap back on and hands it back to the man. The man asks, 'Aren't you having any?' The woman replies, ' No.. I think I'll just wait for the police... '

WHY TEACHERS DRINK ...

LESSON FOR TODAY

Sometimes, we try too hard to get to the greener grass.
In the process, we end up in trouble........
And when you find yourself in trouble and you're stuck in a situation that you can't get out of, there is one thing you should always remember.......
Not everyone who shows up....... is there to help you!!!!

Historical facts about the dangers of vaccines

Historical facts about the dangers of vaccineshttp://www.wariscrime.com/2009/08/31/news/historical-facts-about-the-dangers-of-vaccines/Vaccines are the quackery of modern medicine. Mass vaccination programs not only fail to protect the population from infectious disease, they actually accelerate the spread of disease in many cases.
Many website have cropped up over the last few years to counter the pro-vaccine propaganda put out by drug companies (who profit from vaccines) and health regulators (who serve the drug companies). One of those sites is www.VaccinationDebate.com, which lists the following historical facts about vaccines:
In the USA in 1960, two virologists discovered that both polio vaccines were contaminated with the SV 40 virus which causes cancer in animals as well as changes in human cell tissue cultures. Millions of children had been injected with these vaccines. (Med Jnl of Australia, 17/3/1973, p. 555)
In 1871-2, England, with 98% of the population aged between 2 and 50 vaccinated against smallpox, it experienced its worst ever smallpox outbreak with 45,000 deaths. During the same period in Germany, with a vaccination rate of 96%, there were over 125,000 deaths from smallpox.
In Germany, compulsory mass vaccination against diphtheria commenced in 1940 and by 1945 diphtheria cases were up from 40,000 to 250,000. (Hannah Allen, Don’t Get Stuck! The Case Against Vaccinations and Injections. American Natural Hygiene Society, 1985.)
In 1967, Ghana was declared measles free by the World Health Organisation after 96% of its population was vaccinated. In 1972, Ghana experienced one of its worst measles outbreaks with its highest ever mortality rate. (Dr H Albonico, MMR Vaccine Campaign in Switzerland, March 1990.)
In 1977, Dr Jonas Salk who developed the first polio vaccine, testified along with other scientists, that mass inoculation against polio was the cause of most polio cases throughout the USA since 1961. (Science, 4/4/77, “Abstracts”.)
In the UK between 1970 and 1990, over 200,000 cases of whooping cough occurred in fully vaccinated children. (Community Disease Surveillance Centre, UK.)
In the 1970’s a tuberculosis vaccine trial in India involving 260,000 people revealed that more cases of TB occurred in the vaccinated than the unvaccinated. (The Lancet, 12/1/80, p. 73.)
In 1978, a survey of 30 States in the US revealed that more than half of the children who contracted measles had been adequately vaccinated. (The People’s Doctor, Dr. R. Mendelsohn.)
The February 1981 issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association found that 90% of obstetricians and 66% of pediatricians refused to take the rubella vaccine.
In 1979, Sweden abandoned the whooping cough vaccine due to its ineffectiveness. Out of 5,140 cases in 1978, it was found that 84% had been vaccinated three times! (BMJ, 283:696-697, 1981.)
In the USA, the cost of a single DPT shot had risen from 11 cents in 1982 to $11.40 in 1987. The manufacturers of the vaccine were putting aside $8 per shot to cover legal costs and damages they were paying out to parents of brain damaged children and children who died after vaccination. (The Vine, Issue 7, January 1994, Nambour, Qld.)
In Oman between 1988 and 1989, a polio outbreak occurred amongst thousands of fully vaccinated children. The region with the highest attack rate had the highest vaccine coverage. The region with the lowest attack rate had the lowest vaccine coverage. (The Lancet, 21/9/91.)
In 1990, a UK survey involving 598 doctors revealed that over 50% of them refused to have the Hepatitis B vaccine despite belonging to the high risk group urged to be vaccinated. (British Med Jnl, 27/1/1990.)
In the USA, from July 1990 to November 1993, the US Food and Drug Administration counted a total of 54,072 adverse reactions following vaccination. The FDA admitted that this number represented only 10% of the real total, because most doctors were refusing to report vaccine injuries. In other words, adverse reactions for this period exceeded half a million! (National Vaccine Information Centre, March 2, 1994.)
In 1990, the Journal of the American Medical Association had an article on measles which stated ” Although more than 95% of school-aged children in the US are vaccinated against measles, large measles outbreaks continue to occur in schools and most cases in this setting occur among previously vaccinated children.” (JAMA, 21/11/90.)
In the New England Journal of Medicine July 1994 issue a study found that over 80% of children under 5 years of age who had contracted whooping cough had been fully vaccinated.
On November 2nd, 2000, the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS) announced that its members voted at their 57th annual meeting in St Louis to pass a resolution calling for an end to mandatory childhood vaccines. The resolution passed without a single “no” vote.
